»Ich schwimme in einem Kreis«

In 1992 the British band »The Wedding Present« published a new single on vinyl each month. Inspired by that idea I decided to paint one painting each month for at least one year. This painting was also inspired by the song “Show Me the Way“ by Peter Frampton. It contains the lyrics „I’m swimming in a circle“, that described my personal situation at that time very well. With this painting I created my first round painting very early in my career. I stretched the canvas for this painting on a bicycle rim.
